Goalkeepers

1. Petr Cech – The Chelsea Goalkeeper shirt is very popular, perhaps influenced by one the best goalkeepers in the game

Defenders

26. John Terry – As Chelsea captain he is an obvious choice for fans to add his name and number 26 to their shirt. At the heart of defence, he gives 100% every game and his dedication and commitment is rarely questioned.

3. Ashley Cole – A player who seems to be improving with age and has secured his position at left back for both Chelsea and England. Ashley Cole wears number 3.

17. Jose Bosingwa – A gifted player going forward – with pace and precision crossing. Bosingwa wears number 17.

33. Alex – A rock at the back and he has quite a foot on him when taking free kicks. Brazilian Alex wears the number 33 shirt.

2. Ivanovic - The Serbian international appeared as a ghost player when he first joined the club but has now become a popular and versatile defender with a few goals a season in him.

Midfielders

8. Frank Lampard – Along with John Terry, the most respected Chelsea player. Scoring at least 20 goals in most seasons and often amongst the candidates for player of the year for both club (which he has been awarded three times) and league. Frank Lampard wears number 8.

15. Florent Malouda – He has taken some time to settle in at Chelsea but is performing well this season with a few goals to his name. The Frenchman wears number 15.

18. Yuri Zhirkov – Great things are promised from this Russian who can play in either defence of midfield.

10. Yossi Benayoun – A clever purchase from Liverpool, Benayoun knows the Premiership well and is a high impact player, commonly coming on from the bench and changing games in an instant. Benayoun wears the number 10 shirt at Chelsea.

Strikers

11. Didier Drogba – Often labelled the best striker in the world when he is on his game

39. Nicolas Anelka – Many people queried Chelsea’s decision to sign ‘Le Sulk’ from Bolton. However, the Frenchman is playing the best football of his career at Chelsea and most of all, is happy. A happy Anelka equals a very productive Anelka.

21. Salomon Kalou – Drogba’s international strike partner, Kalou has a lot of potential as a goalscoring forward.
